More than 100 years after it created Japan’s first production line vehicle, the Model A, Mitsubishi remains an innovative manufacturer renowned for producing reliable, durable and high-performance trucks, 4x4s and SUVs.
The L200 was the UK's second best-selling pick-up truck in 2018, and has been one of the top three every year since 2016. Since entering its fifth generation in 2015, it’s won numerous awards, and offers a versatile, powerful solution to your business needs. Four-wheel drive comes as standard, enabling you to tackle varying terrain, and it can carry a payload of up to 1,060kg, making your working day optimally productive. Step inside and you’ll find supportive seats, plenty of cabin storage, and an agile and quiet on-road drive. Two-seater single cab, four-seater club cab and five-seater double cab versions are available.
Mitsubishi's smallest commercial vehicle, the award-winning Outlander Commercial, is derived from the passenger variant and proves a practical companion for your business. It offers a payload capacity of 705kg as well as 2,000kg of towing capacity, and makes off-road terrain feel effortless thanks to its powerful engine options and well-tuned suspension. On the tarmac, body control is good, the ride is comfortable and the Outlander achieves up to 53.3mpg, making operating costs appealing. There’s also a petrol-electric hybrid variant on offer, should you wish to lease a greener option and benefit from lower tax rates.
Rounding off the Mitsubishi commercial lineup is the newly-returned Shogun Sport, a stylish and distinctive option based on the L200 pick-up. It’s designed to make challenging environments a breeze, sporting two locking differentials to help with off-road grip, a towing capacity of 3,100kg and a wading capability of 70cm. All this is powered by a 2.4-litre turbodiesel engine, which generates up to 179bhp - plenty to enable you to haul people or cargo across hostile terrain. Inside, you’ll find ample room for seven, or an impressive 1,488 litres of luggage with both rows of seats folded. It illustrates well the durability of Mitsubishi's vehicles: the company estimates that almost two thirds of the 18,500 previous generation Shogun Sports sold in the UK from 2000 to 2007 are still in use.
